Feelunique are proudly partnering with Mind to host an exclusive panel talk on the topic 'Beauty is More Than Skin Deep'
This year, Feelunique are proudly partnering with Mind, the UK’s leading mental health charity. Together, we are on a mission to encourage and give a platform for open discussion around the subject of mental health. That’s why we have launched the #openupformind campaign to inspire more conversation around mental health, because opening up to someone gives us the space to talk about things that are more than skin deep.
To kickstart the discussion, Feelunique will be hosting an exclusive panel talk with well-known mental health advocates, brand founders and body positivity activists to reflect on their own experiences surrounding mental health, the role that social media has played in this and what the beauty industry can do to promote more positive messaging around the topic.
Our fantastic line up of panellists include:
Megan Rose Lane; Motherhood, Mental Health and Body Confidence Influencer
Stephanie Yeboah; Body confidence advocate, author and speaker
Honey Kinny; co-founder of the Pink Protest
Becky Young; Size, Sex and Body activist
Mattias Hulting; Founder of Smilemakers
Rachel Egan; Mind Charity representative
As well as the open discussion, there will be a number of other exciting offerings to get involved with throughout the evening. ILA Apocathery will be on hand to offer ten-minute uplifting treatments focusing on pressure points, head, shoulders, intention work and breathing with product infusion while artists, Rayvenn Shaleigha D’Clark and Ella Devi Dabysing, will be hosting art therapy workshops; a guided meditation into achieving the ‘perfect’ self-portrait by drawing the ‘inner self’ rather than the outward exterior. All guests will also receive an exclusive Feelunique goodie bag worth over £75 full of some of our favourite self-care products.
All ticket proceeds will, of course, go to Mind so please join us for what is set to be an inspiring evening of feel-good discussion and uplifting treatments all in the name of a fantastic cause.
Doors open 6.15pm for treatments, drinks and nibbles.
Panel talk begins at 7pm.
