The BBC Next Generation Committee, run by the Director General’s office, are launching a new BBC staff network for young employees to help them make connections, share ideas, learn new skills, and generally feel good, called the BBC Young Talent Network. As part of the evening, a elected number of young talented people from inside and outside were asked to tell the audience a short story about their best piece of advice.
‘My best piece of advice’ – this is the theme of the evening. Each inspiring speaker tells a story about the best piece of advice they’ve ever been given. The speakers are: Ben Zand (doc presenter for BBC Three); Annie Price (inspirational broadcaster for BBC Three); Max Gogarty (factual commissioner, chair of this year’s Next Generation Committee); Megha Mohan (BBC gender identity correspondent); Amy Elizabeth (presenter of the BBC Studios Strictly podcast); Adeyemi Michael (filmmaker); Jordan Dunbar (R4 young presenter and stand-up comic); Kojo Amin (comedian and actor); Rayvenn Sheleigha D Clark(artist); Junior Kassim (apprentice and member of the new Next Generation Committee); Emily Dicks (R1 presenter and DJ).
